Dr. Sumallya Mukhopadhyay is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar. He obtained Ph.D. from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His current research focuses on the politics of dispossession in narratives related to the 1947 Partition of Bengal. He is interested in narratology, memory studies, refugee literature, migration studies, oral history and museology.
