My research area is Nanoelectronics specifically to understand the motion/behaviour of biological molecules (DNA) when they are suspended in an electrolyte. Proposed a robust method to devise a suitable approach for trapping/manipulating biological molecules using electrokinetic phenomena. Used lithographically (direct EBL) patterned microelectrodes of different shapes to facilitate effective trapping mechanisms under nonuniform electric fields.
