Gut health: infection, diagnosis, and control. Gastroenteritis is an event of infection but disease like irritable bowel syndrom is because of dysbiosis. In both the cases, microbial population, specially bacteria play a key role to maitain/ disturb homeostasis. Hence, pathogens, commensals and probiotics are research to understand their common and special behaviour and to find therapeutic solutions for the control of infection, inflamation, colon cancer and obesity.
